26.3 Flowers

Good Morning,
How is everyone today?
Miss Letherby is looking forward to spending some more time working outside in the garden today!

Please have a look at the daily reflections I will be posting at the end of each blog in order to share the examples of home learning I have received each day. You can find this at https://ctkrec.blogspot.com/
It will be a good way for the children to see what their school friends have been doing at home I expect they are missing each other.

REMINDER : Please keep hold of any household recycling materials as these could be used for model making e.g things like cardboard, bottle tops, tubes etc.

Here are today's activities.

Keep yourself moving with Joe Wicks on Youtube or a GoNoodle workout of your choice.

1. Flowers

Find a flower, this could be in the garden, the house or online. Have a go at drawing and colouring a picture of a flower. Think about the size (not small!) and the shapes you need to use. write a list of all the things they need to grow (the list could be in the form of pictures)

2. Get your fingers moving
- Create or use a washing line and practice hanging things on the line using some pegs, you could hang up clothes, socks or even some of the pictures you have drawn to create your own gallery.

3. Count to 100!
You are all getting so good at counting and recognising numbers!
Here is a link to the Spiderman count to 100 video so you can all keep practicing at home.

Remember - you can go back and complete any of the activities previously set that you haven't done yet if you are looking for some extra work to do.
Don't forget your daily reading and phonics practice and complete one activity from your home learning pack - you might like to do the hide-a-saurus finding one more and one less sheet!

Have a great day :)

Today’s reflection
