Monday Morning 27.4

Good Morning Reception,
How are you all? Did you have a good weekend? What fun things did you get up to?
Thank you for all your kind birthday wishes, messages and cards that you made - they were so lovely and I really appreciated it. You are so kind and I am missing seeing you.
I shared an overview of the week with you on Friday so hopefully this provides you with a bit of insight into the week ahead.

Here are your activities for the day.

P.E
It's important to keep active. Create an obstacle course outside and complete it. What is the quickest time you can complete your course?

Phonics
Practice your flashcards and tricky words.
Go to new.phonicsplay.co.uk and play (phase 4) Dragons Den.

Activity 1 Literacy
Today I would like you to practice writing your full name.
Your first name and your surname.
To make this activity more interesting you could make your name with loose parts (e.g pieces of lego, cotton buds, marbles, stones etc) or you could write it with chalk, on a tray with salt or flour, you could paint it, rainbow write it with different coloured pens/pencils.

Activity 2 Numeracy

Day 1 - Night Pirates
Click on the link above. Watch the video for day 1 week beginning 27th April.
Once you have watched the video complete the activities in the activity section.
Make your own pirate telescope and decorate with a pattern.

Activity 3
Spring Scavenger Hunt
How many things from the picture can you find?
Talk about one of the things you’ve found for 30 seconds.

Remember, please respond very regularly so I know that you are ok. Uploading pictures regularly to tapestry is a great way for you to share your learning with me. Then I can upload these to the blog at the end of each day. Even if it's just that you like or add a comment to my post to say hello it would be great to hear from you all.

Thank you to everyone who has been in regular contact, it's lovely to hear from you and you are doing an amazing job!

I look forward to hearing from you throughout the day :)
Have a super day.

Today's reflection
It's been lovely to hear from so many of you today through your uploads on Tapestry or through email.
Thank you for your continued hard work and engagement with the home learning activities. It's been great to see all the hard work in Phonics and Maths today. The telescopes you made were fantastic.
I love that some of you have been getting competitive with the obstacle courses you have made and have even been challenging your siblings!

Here are some of the very creative telescopes you made your Maths activity.

Some super name practice today...

There were some very competitive obstacle courses...

A great aeroplane by Rocco using recyclable materials....

You found lot's of things on the spring scavenger hunt

You've been working hard with your phonics and Maths.

Kamil made his own game.

Well done Reception keep up the great work. Seeing you all safe, well and enjoying your time at home has been great.
