Literacy

It's very important that we take some time to care for ourselves and make sure we are feeling good so today I would like you to draw a large picture of yourself - colour it in very neatly and carefully.

You could cut the picture out but you don't have to.

Now give the picture of yourself a great big hug! You deserve it!

Once you have done this you could give this picture to someone who you love and miss. You could write them a letter to say that you miss them.

Today's Reflection
What a great start to the week reception - well done.
Lots of fabulous work to report on today.
Some great self portraits and brilliant maths work.
Lots of you found all the items on the scavenger hunt!

Here's what you have been up to today.
Manna completed the scavenger hunt. She drew a picture of herself and gave herself a hug.

Lily R has been working hard on her maths to make a symmetrical pattern. She has also been doing really well with her reading and phonics and she completed the inventors scavenger hunt! Great work Lily :D

Tyron enjoyed a nice walk with his family this weekend! Looks great fun and you saw lots of transport while you were out.

Lily B has been keeping fit with gymnastics, she has worked hard on her maths, writing and completed the scavenger hunt.

Kamil made a lifesize cut out of himself - which is amazing!!!! They even have the same outfit! He game himself a big hug!
He has worked super hard on all the tasks today - well done.

Callum went out for a lovely walk until he fell over and hurt his knees. So he has been working hard playing on the phonics games - which he really enjoys! We hope you feel better soon :D
