Let’s hope for another fantastic day filled with sunshine.
Don’t forget today is your last day of home learning tasks for this week because tomorrow is V.E day.
Keep sharing pictures and comments of all the things you have been doing. I add these to our blog so all your friends can see what you've been doing. It's great for us to keep in contact.
Here are your activities for today!

Literacy
"VE Day (Victory in Europe Day) takes place on 8th May, commemorating the same day back in 1945 when the war finally ceased. On that day, people from across the globe flocked to the streets for parties and get-togethers, enjoying their freedom for the first time in six years".
Here is a power point you could look at together all about V.E day for young children.

Pick 2 of the following:
Colour a picture of the Union Jack.
Make your own bunting to decorate your house.
Create your own war medal
Draw a picture of a soldier - perhaps you could draw Colonal Tom completing his recent challenge.
Decorate biscuits with red, white and blue icing.
Listen to and begin to join in with Vera Lynn - 'we’ll meet again'. Can you join in using the Makaton signs? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyWYsB9ooQE
This is an excellent resource pack with lots of printables and activities.
